List of Ingredients
Comeback Sauce:
â—¦ ½ cup mayonnaise
â—¦ 2 tablespoons chili sauce
â—¦ 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
â—¦ 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
â—¦ 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
â—¦ 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
Sandwiches:
â—¦ 4 (6-ounce) boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
â—¦ 1 teaspoon salt
â—¦ 1 teaspoon paprika
â—¦ ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
â—¦ ¾ teaspoon onion powder
â—¦ ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
â—¦ 4 slices Swiss cheese
â—¦ 2 tablespoons butter, melted
â—¦ 4 hamburger buns
â—¦ ½ cup sauerkraut, drained
Recipe
Mix together the mayonnaise, chili sauce, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and hot pepper sauce in a small bowl. Refrigerate until you are ready to assemble the sandwiches.
Heat the grill to medium-high heat. Sprinkle the chicken breasts evenly with the salt, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper on both sides. Grill the chicken for 7 to 8 minutes per side. During the last few minutes of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each chicken breast, and let it melt.
Brush the melted butter on the insides of the buns, and place them on the grill for about 1 minute, or until they are lightly charred. Spread the sauce onto the insides of the buns. Remove the chicken breasts from the grill, and place them on the bottoms of the buns. Top the chicken with the sauerkraut and the other bun half. Serve immediately with the remaining Comeback Sauce.
