Grilled Sweet Onions

- 2 Tbsp oil
- 1 tsp white wine Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 to 1 tsp sugar
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp dried oregano leaves

- 2 sweet onions (Spanish, Bermuda, Vidalia or Walla Walla), cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices
Instructions
- Heat grill. In small bowl, combine all glaze ingredients; blend well. If desired, place onions in grill basket.
- When ready to grill, place onions on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals.
- Cook 10 to 15 minutes, or until crisp-tender and lightly browned, brushing both sides with glaze and turning once.
Makes 4 servings.
