    Ranch Burgers

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 Tbsp olive oil
    • 1 onion, finely chopped
    • 1 cup finely chopped fresh mushrooms
    • 1 clove garlic, minced
    • 1 pound ground chuck
    • ¼ cup crumbled blue cheese
    • ½ tsp salt
    • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
    • .
    • 4 hamburger buns, split and toasted
    • Zesty Ranch Sauce (recipe follows)
    • Toppings: crispy cooked bacon, shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes


    Instructions


    1. In a small skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion, mushrooms and garlic; cook 4 to 6 minutes, or until tender. Let cool 10 minutes.

    2. In a large bowl, combine ground chuck, onion mixture, blue cheese, and salt and pepper until well blended. Shape mixture into four 5-inch patties.

    3. Grill, covered with grill lid, over medium-high heat (350° to 400°) for 5 to 6 minutes per side or until desired degree of doneness. Serve on toasted buns with Zesty Ranch Sauce and desired toppings.

      Makes 4 servings.

      ZESTY RANCH SAUCE

      • 1 cup mayonnaise
      • ½ cup sour cream
      • 1 (1.0-ounce) package dry Ranch dressing mix

      In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, and dressing mix. Cover and chill.

      Makes 1½ cups.
