    Bath Salts Sundae

    Source of Recipe

From "Home Made" by Alexa Lett

    Recipe Introduction

"This is the ultimate gift for a friend on a diet. This has the look of great food for inside the tummy but is great enjoyment for outside the tummy. You'll need a tall, clear ice-cream sundae glass to achieve the full effect, but any tall glass will work."

    List of Ingredients

    • 8 ounces cornstarch
    • 8 ounces citric acid
    • 16 ounces baking soda
    • 8 to 10 drops essential oil of your choice
    • Food coloring of your choice
    • White net scrubby
    • One large red bead
    • Double-sided tape

    Recipe

    Preheat the oven to 200°F.

Blend the first five ingredients thoroughly and pour onto a cookie sheet. Put the cookie sheet in the oven for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is completely dry. Spoon the mixture into the ice-cream sundae dish and fill to the top.

Lay the white scrubby on top of the salt-filled sundae dish, attach the red bead to the top of the scrubby with a small piece of double-sided tape (this simulates a cherry on top of whipped cream).

The remaining mixture can be stored in an airtight container.
