Chamo-Mint Soap

List of Ingredients
- One 4-ounce bar Castile soap
- 1/4 cup distilled water
- 2 Tbsp dried chamomile
- 1 drop red food coloring
- 1 Tbsp liquid lanolin
- 1 tsp jojoba oil
- 10 drops peppermint oil
- 4 drops vitamin E oil (squeezed from a vitamin E capsule)
Instructions
- Shred the Castile soap with a grater and set aside. Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan and add the chamomile. Remove from heat, cover, and let this steep for 30 minutes.
- Strain the chamomile from the water, return the water to the pan, and reheat over low. Add the food coloring and the shredded soap, stirring continuously until it becomes sticky.
- Add the lanolin, jojoba oil, peppermint oil and vitamin E oil, and blend. Remove the soap from the heat and spoon into a 5-ounce mold. Let harden for several hours.
