- 1 bar unscented hard white soap
- 6 Tbsp boiling water
- 4 ounces beeswax
- 4 Tbsp glycerin
- 2/3 cup almond oil
- 4 Tbsp rose water
- 20 drops patchouli oil
Instructions
- Grate the soap and place it in a heat-resistant bowl. Add the boiling water and stir until the mixture is dissolved and smooth.
- In a double boiler, combine the beeswax, glycerin, almond oil and rose water. Remove from the heat and slowly blend in the soap mixture, stirring continuously until it cools. Stir in the patchouli oil. Store the mixture in a lidded glass jar.
To Use:
This is a good remedy for dry or chapped hands, because it works all through the night. Before you go to bed, generously cover your hands with the cream, and slip on a pair of cotton gloves. Wake up the next morning with soft, supple hands.
