Ade: Classic Lemonade

List of Ingredients
- 7½ cups water
- 1 to 1½ cups sugar
- 1 Tbsp lemon zest (from about 2 lemons)
- 1½ cups fresh lemon juice (from about 14 lemons)
Instructions
- Boil ½ cup of the water in a medium saucepan.
- Add sugar to taste and the lemon zest, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Remove from the heat and stir in the lemon juice. Let cool.
- Pour the lemon syrup mixture into a serving pitcher and add the remaining 7 cups water. Serve in iced-tea glasses filled with ice.
Makes 2½ quarts
