    Coffee: Chocolate Cafe au Lait

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cup whipping cream
    • 2 Tbsp sugar
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • 1 ounce German sweet chocolate, grated (about 1/4 cup)
    • 2 cups hot brewed coffee
    • Chocolate curls (optional)


    Instructions


    1. In a small mixer bowl, beat whipping cream, sugar and vanilla with an electric mixer on low speed until soft peaks form. Fold in the grated German sweet chocolate.

    2. Pour the hot brewed coffee into 4 coffee cups. Pipe or spoon a fourth of the whipped cream mixture over coffee in each cup. Top with chocolate curls. Serve at once.

      Makes 4 (6-ounce) servings.
