    Cocoa: Double Marshmallow Hot Chocolate

    List of Ingredients


    • 4 cups milk
    • 1-1/3 cups marshmallow creme
    • 1/3 cup sugar
    • 1/4 cup unsweetened Dutch processed cocoa
    • Pinch salt
    • 1/2 tsp vanilla
    • 1 cup miniature marshmallows


    Instructions


    1. Combine the milk, marshmallow creme, sugar, cocoa and salt in a large, heavy saucepan. Cook over medium-high heat, whisking constantly, until the sugar dissolves and the mixture bubbles.

    2. Lower the heat to medium-low and cook until the larger clumps of marshmallow creme dissolve, leaving small bits in the hot chocolate, and the hot chocolate thickens.

      Pour or ladle into mugs or cups and top with the miniature marshmallows. Serve hot.

      Makes 6 servings.
