Shake: Vietnamese Coffee Shake
Source of Recipe
From "Mad Hungry: Cravings" by Lucinda Quinn
Recipe Introduction
"This is a noveau shake version of the traditional Vietnamese coffee — itself a result of the colonial French presence in Vietnam. The French brought coffee beans for cultivation to the country in the late-1800s, along with their tradition of un petit café in the morning. Chicory coffee, such as Café du Monde, is often used. Serve this along with a Banh Mi sandwich. Poured in small chilled cups, it's also a delicious dessert on a cool day."
