    Paula Deen's Christmas (2010 Special Issue)

    List of Ingredients


    • Lime zest
    • Fresh lime juice
    • Sugar
    • ½ cup whipping cream
    • 2 Tbsp sugar
    • 1 Tbsp brandy
    • 3 cups apricot nectar
    • 4 ounces brandy


    Instructions


    1. In 3 shallow bowls, add lime zest, lime juice, and sugar. Dip rims of each glass into zest, juice, and sugar. Set aside.

    2. In a small bowl, beat cream at high speed with a mixer until soft peaks form; gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form. (Do not overbeat.) Stir in 1 tablespoon brandy. Chill.

    3. Pour 2/3 cup nectar and 1 ounce brandy into prepared glass; stir. Top each serving with about 2 tablespoons whipped cream. Serve immediately.

      Makes 4 servings.
