    List of Ingredients


    • 1½ ounces vodka
    • ½ ounce anisette (Marie Brizard preferred)
    • 1 ounce half-and-half
    • Rose's Grenadine Syrup


    Instructions


    1. Combine vodka, anisette and 1 ounce half-and-half in an ice-filled shaker. Shake and strain into a sugar-rimmed cocktail glass. Spoon in about ½ ounce Rose's Grenadine Syrup, which will sink to the bottom, creating the red flourish of a peppermint stick.

      Garnish with mint sprigs and crumbled candy canes.
