    Spirited: Mocha Rum Nog

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 quart dairy eggnog
    • 1 quart chocolate-flavored milk
    • 1 cup whipping cream
    • 1/3 cup rum
    • 1/3 cup creme de cacao or coffee liqueur
    • 1 Tbsp instant coffee crystals
    • Shaved chocolate (optional)


    Instructions


    1. In saucepan, combine eggnog, milk, 1/2 cup of the whipping cream, rum, creme de cacao or coffee liqueur, and coffee crystals. Heat through. Do not boil. Pour into heat-proof carafe or pot.

    2. Beat remaining whipping cream to soft peaks. Dollop over each serving. Sprinkle with shaved chocolate.

      Makes about 10 (7-ounce) servings.
