    Tea: Moroccan Mint Tea

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 cups loosely packed fresh mint leaves, plus mint sprigs for garnish
    • 1/3 cup sugar
    • 2 Tbsp gunpowder green tea (available at specialty tea shops)
    • 6 cups boiling water


    Instructions


    1. In a teapot, combine mint leaves, sugar and tea, and add boiling water. Let tea steep 5 to 10 minutes. Strain tea through a fine sieve into teacups and garnish with mint sprigs.

      Makes about 6 cups.
