Recipe Introduction
"I went to college at Miami University in Ohio. (For those scratching their heads at that, Miami was a university before Florida was a state.) We had a great breakfast spot called Uptown Bakery, and when I wanted to treat myself, I'd walk up there and get a Backpack Bagel. I still think about those mornings with my girlfriends, drinking our coffee and enjoying our bagels."
List of Ingredients
â—¦ 1 whole wheat bagel, split and toasted
â—¦ ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
â—¦ ½ Granny Smith apple, thinly sliced
â—¦ ¼ cup granola
â—¦ 1 teaspoon chia seeds
Recipe
Spread the peanut butter onto both halves of the bagel. Top the peanut butter with shingled slices of apple, then the granola and chia seeds. Serve.
