Bacon-Cheddar Cups

List of Ingredients
- 12 slices white bread
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 4 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled
- ½ cup whipping cream
- 1 egg, beaten
- ½ Tbsp chives
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Garnish: cherry tomatoes, mushrooms
Instructions
- Cut a 3-inch circle from center of each bread slice. Roll out each circle with a rolling pin to flatten slightly. Grease a 12-cup muffin pan with butter. Press one bread circle in each cup.
- Bake at 350° F for 7 minutes. Divide bacon among cups. Combine whipping cream, egg, chives, and onion powder; divide among cups. Sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake at 350° for 12 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with cherry tomatoes or mushrooms.
Makes 12 servings.
