    Brie-Sausage Brunch Soufflé

    • 6 slices white bread, crusts removed
    • 1 lb. hot bulk pork sausage, browned and drained
    • 1/4 lb. Brie cheese, rind removed and cubed
    • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 3 eggs blended with 2 cups whipping cream
    • 2 eggs blended with 1 cup whipping cream
    • 2 cups milk
    • 1-1/2 Tbsp chopped fresh sage
    • 1 tsp seasoned salt
    • 1 tsp dry mustard


    Instructions


    1. Place slices of bread evenly on bottom of lightly greased 9- x 13-inch dish. Layer bread slices, sausage, Brie, and Parmesan cheese.

    2. Whisk 3 eggs and 2 cups of whipping cream in bowl. Add milk, sage, seasoning salt and dry mustard, and mix well. Pour over layers and chill, covered, overnight.

    3. Whisk 2 eggs and 1 cup whipping cream. Pour over layers. Bake at 350° F for 1 hour, or until center is set.

      Serves 8
