Overnight Sausage & Egg Casserole

List of Ingredients
- 6 slices bread
- Butter
- 1-1/4 lbs. pork sausage, crumbled, browned until cooked, and drained
- 10 to 12 eggs
- Milk
- Salt and pepper
- Grated Cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Cut crusts off bread and discard. Butter bread and arrange in 9x13-inch baking pan. Sprinkle cooked, drained sausage over bread layer.
- In mixing bowl, whip eggs with a little bit of milk, then season to taste with salt and pepper. Pour mixture over sausage layer. Sprinkle with cheese to taste, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
- The next morning, uncover the pan and bake at 350 degrees (F) about 35 to 45 minutes, or until eggs are set.
