    Overnight Sausage & Egg Casserole

    List of Ingredients


    • 6 slices bread
    • Butter
    • 1-1/4 lbs. pork sausage, crumbled, browned until cooked, and drained
    • 10 to 12 eggs
    • Milk
    • Salt and pepper
    • Grated Cheddar cheese


    Instructions


    1. Cut crusts off bread and discard. Butter bread and arrange in 9x13-inch baking pan. Sprinkle cooked, drained sausage over bread layer.

    2. In mixing bowl, whip eggs with a little bit of milk, then season to taste with salt and pepper. Pour mixture over sausage layer. Sprinkle with cheese to taste, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.

    3. The next morning, uncover the pan and bake at 350 degrees (F) about 35 to 45 minutes, or until eggs are set.
