List of Ingredients
- 1 lb. sausage
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tsp Tabasco sauce
- 1 cup grits
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 can (7 ounces) diced green chiles
- 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
- 1/3 cup fresh cilantro
Instructions
- Cook sausage; crumble. Combine sausage, garlic and Tabasco. Set aside.
- Cook grits in 4 cups water according to package directions.
- Combine sausage, grits, butter, eggs, cheese and chiles. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees (F) for 40 to 45 minutes. Sprinkle with red bell pepper and cilantro.
