    Rosemary-Mustard Sausage Patties

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 medium onions, finely chopped
    • 4 tsp olive oil
    • 2 tsp minced fresh rosemary or ¾ tsp dried rosemary, crushed
    • 4 tsp stone-ground mustard
    • ½ tsp pepper
    • 2 pounds bulk pork sausage


    Instructions


    1. In a large skillet, sauté onions in oil until tender. Add rosemary; cook 1 minute longer.

    2. Transfer to a large bowl; stir in mustard and pepper. Crumble sausage over mixture; mix well. Shape mixture by ¼-cupfuls into thin patties.

    3. Place in ungreased 15x10x1-inch baking pans. Bake at 375° for 12 to 15 minutes, or until meat is no longer pink. If necessary, drain on paper towels.

      Makes 16 sausage patties.
