    Sausage (or Bacon) Gravy

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/4 cup sausage (or bacon) drippings
    • 1/4 cup flour
    • 2 cups milk
    • 1/2 tsp salt, or to taste
    • 1/4 tsp pepper, or to taste


    Instructions


    1. To the sausage drippings in the skillet, add the flour. Cook and stir over medium heat 5 to 10 minutes, or until mixture starts to turn golden.

    2. Slowly add milk, stirring constantly. Add salt and pepper. Cook gravy until it boils and thickens. Sausage pieces may be added to gravy.

      Serve over warm biscuits.
