Sausage (or Bacon) Gravy

List of Ingredients
- 1/4 cup sausage (or bacon) drippings
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 tsp salt, or to taste
- 1/4 tsp pepper, or to taste
Instructions
- To the sausage drippings in the skillet, add the flour. Cook and stir over medium heat 5 to 10 minutes, or until mixture starts to turn golden.
- Slowly add milk, stirring constantly. Add salt and pepper. Cook gravy until it boils and thickens. Sausage pieces may be added to gravy.
Serve over warm biscuits.
