Scrambled Eggs with Cream Cheese and Chives

- 8 large eggs
- 1 Tbsp minced fresh chives
- 1/4 tsp salt, or to taste
- 1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 2 ounces cream cheese, cut into bits, softened
- 1 Tbsp unsalted butter
- Garnish: 1 Tbsp minced fresh chives
Instructions
- Whisk together eggs, chives, salt, and pepper in a bowl, then stir in cream cheese.
- Melt butter in a 10-inch nonstick skillet over moderate heat. Add egg mixture and cook, stirring, just until cooked through, 4 to 6 minutes. Serve eggs sprinkled with chives.
