List of Ingredients
Instructions
- Fill a saucepan three-quarters full with water and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Gently lower the eggs into the boiling water. Reduce the heat enough to maintain a very gentle boil and boil the eggs for 3 to 4 minutes depending on desired doneness. At three minutes, the yolks will be runny and the whites not fully set; at four minutes, the whites will be set and the yolks will be beginning to harden.
- Using a small strainer or slotted spoon, scoop the eggs out of the water and briefly run under cold water until cool enough to handle. Crack the tops of the eggs open and eat directly out of the shell or spoon out onto toast.
