    Stuffed Croissants

    List of Ingredients


    • -- For each individual serving --
    • 1 croissant
    • 1-ounce slice of ham
    • 1-ounce slice of Swiss cheese
    • Butter


    Instructions


    1. Cut one croissant per person in half lengthwise. Place bottom section in a buttered baking pan. Layer with 1 slice ham and 1 slice Swiss cheese. Cover with top half of croissant and dot all over with bits of butter.

    2. Bake 20 minutes in a 300-degree oven, covering lightly with aluminum foil for the first 10 minutes of cooking.

      If desired, serve with cantaloupe, strawberries, or any fresh fruit in season.
