Stuffed Croissants

- 1 croissant
- 1-ounce slice of ham
- 1-ounce slice of Swiss cheese
- Butter
Instructions
- Cut one croissant per person in half lengthwise. Place bottom section in a buttered baking pan. Layer with 1 slice ham and 1 slice Swiss cheese. Cover with top half of croissant and dot all over with bits of butter.
- Bake 20 minutes in a 300-degree oven, covering lightly with aluminum foil for the first 10 minutes of cooking.
If desired, serve with cantaloupe, strawberries, or any fresh fruit in season.
