Sunday Morning Waffles

List of Ingredients
- 1¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 3 Tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- 2 large eggs
- 1¾ cups milk
- 1 stick butter, melted
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp almond extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, cinnamon and baking powder.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, butter, vanilla extract, and almond extract. Stir the dry ingredients into the liquid and stir until well blended.
- Pour onto a preheated waffle iron that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Cook the waffles for about 3 minutes, or until they are lightly golden with a touch of crunch.
Makes about 9 (4½-inch) square waffles
