Syrup: Homemade Maple Syrup

List of Ingredients
- 2 cups packed light brown sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 Tbsp light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp maple extract
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, water and corn syrup. Bring to a boil over medium heat and simmer, uncovered, for 3 minutes. Stir in the maple extract. Pour into a small pitcher and serve. Or pour into a jar with a screw-top lid and store in the pantry for up to 1 month.
Makes about 2 cups.
