Syrup: Waffle and Pancake Syrup

List of Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup loosely packed light brown sugar
- 1 cup cold water
- 4 Tbsp (½ stick) butter
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients in a heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil, and boil 4 to 5 minutes for a medium-thin syrup.
Makes 1½ cups
• Variation:
Use ½ cup maple sugar instead of the light brown sugar.
