Walnut-Almond Granola

List of Ingredients
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp almond extract
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
- 5 cups bran flakes cereal
- 2-1/4 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1-3/4 cups sliced almonds
- 1-3/4 cups walnuts, coarsely chopped
- 1-1/3 cups sweetened flaked coconut
- 1-1/2 cups golden raisins
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325° F. Mix first 4 ingredients and cinnamon, if desired, in small saucepan. Stir over medium heat just until warm.
- Mix cereal and next 4 ingredients in large bowl. Pour warm honey mixture over and toss to coat. Divide granola mixture between 2 rimmed baking sheets, spreading evenly.
- Bake until golden brown, stirring every 5 minutes, about 25 minutes total. Sprinkle raisins over and cool completely. (Can be made 1 week ahead. Store in airtight container at room temperature.)
Serve with milk or yogurt.
Makes 10 to 12 servings.
