Cherry Custard Bars

List of Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 Tbsp confectioners' sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup chopped nuts
- 1 cup chopped maraschino cherries
Instructions
- Blend 1 cup flour, butter and confectioners' sugar. Press into a 9-inch square pan and bake at 350 degrees (F) for 20 minutes.
- Beat eggs, sugar, 1/4 cup flour, baking powder, salt and vanilla. Add nuts and maraschino cherries. Pour on top of crust.
- Bake at 350 degrees (F) for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
Makes 24 bars.
