    Homemade Chocolate Brownies

    Recipe Introduction

    "Better than box mix, these homemade chocolate brownies will delight your guests, young and old."

    List of Ingredients

    â—¦ 1 cup unsalted butter
    â—¦ 2 ¼ cups sugar
    â—¦ 4 large eggs, room temperature
    â—¦ 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    â—¦ 1 â…“ cups unsweetened cocoa powder
    â—¦ 1 teaspoon salt
    â—¦ 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
    â—¦ 1 â…“ cups all-purpose flour
    â—¦ 2 cups mini semisweet chocolate chips

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare a 9 x 9-inch pan with nonstick cooking spray.

    In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter. Add sugar and stir until just combined. Remove from heat and pour into heatproof mixing bowl. Stir in eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla and stir until combined. Stir in cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, and flour until combined. Stir in chocolate chips.

    Spread brownie batter into pan and bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Be careful not to overbake.

    Makes 24 brownies
