Satin Brownies

List of Ingredients



• 1 cup sugar
  
• 1/4 cup salad oil
  
• 2 eggs
  
• 1 tsp vanilla
  
• 2 (1-oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
  
• 1/2 cup sifted enriched flour or 2/3 cup sifted cake flour
  
• 1/2 tsp salt
  
• 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  






Instructions



1. Combine sugar, salad oil, eggs, and vanilla; beat until light and smooth. Stir in chocolate. Sift together the flour and salt; add to chocolate mixture. Beat until smooth. Stir in nuts.
   
   
2. Spread brownie mixture in a greased 8x8x2-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
   
   
3. While still warm, cut into squares; cool before removing from pan.
   
   Makes 16 brownies.
