Spread: Garlic Herb Cheese Spread

List of Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 8 Tbsp (1 stick) butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, fresh as possible (crushed)
- 1 tsp chopped fresh oregano leaves
- 1 tsp chopped fresh marjoram leaves
- 1 tsp chopped fresh basil leaves
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and beat with an electric mixer until blended into a spreadable consistency. Cover and refrigerate overnight or up to several days for the flavors to blend and mellow.
- When ready to serve, bring the spread to room temperature. Mound on a platter and serve with crackers or toasted baguette slices.
Makes 1½ cups.
