    Frosting: Sour Cream Chocolate Frosting

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 cups powdered sugar
    • 1/2 cup sour cream
    • 1 Tbsp butter (or margarine), softened
    • 1 (6-oz.) pkg. semisweet chocolate chips (1 cup), melted and cooled
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • Milk, if needed


    Instructions


    1. In a small bowl, combine powdered sugar, sour cream, and butter; beat at medium speed until light and fluffy.

    2. Add chocolate and vanilla; blend at low speed until smooth. If necessary, add milk a teaspoon at a time, until frosting is of desired spreading consistency.

      Store in refrigerator.

      Frosts 2-layer or 13x9-inch cake.
