    Campfire Foiled Chicken Dinner

    List of Ingredients


    • 6 chicken breasts (pre-cooked at home)
    • 6 carrots, sliced lengthwise, parboiled
    • 6 small potatoes, sliced lengthwise, parboiled
    • 1 onion, sliced into 6 slices
    • 1 can cream of celery soup
    • 1 can cream of chicken soup
    • 4 Tbsp butter


    Instructions


    1. Boil chicken breasts for 20 minutes at home.

    2. Place chicken breast, carrots, potatoes, 1 onion slice, soups and pat of butter on 6 squares of heavy-duty aluminum foil, dull side out. Seal tightly and freeze until needed.

    3. At the campsite, bury the packets in hot coals. Cook 30 minutes, turning once or twice, until potato is tender.

      Makes 6 servings.
