    Onion Swiss Steak

    List of Ingredients


    • 3 lbs. round steak, 3/4-inch thick
    • 1-1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/4 tsp pepper
    • 2 pkgs. Onion Soup Mix
    • Two 10-ounce cans tomatoes


    Instructions


    1. Cut steak into serving pieces; season with salt and pepper, and place into Dutch Oven. Sprinkle onion soup mix over top and pour tomatoes over all.

    2. Cover and cook over slow fire for 2 to 3 hours, or until meat is done and tender.
