"Sweetness and salt make a great combo, so you should not pass up a chance to make this delicious bark, made with bittersweet chocolate, pretzels, almonds, and the exceedingly fine Benton's bacon."
List of Ingredients
◦  8 bacon slices
◦  12 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
◦  ¾ cup coarsely crushed mini pretzel twists (about 27 pretzels)
◦  ¼ cup roasted salted almonds, coarsely chopped
◦  ¼ tsp coarse sea salt
Recipe
Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes or until crisp; remove bacon, and drain on paper towels. Crumble bacon, removing any fatty pieces.
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Microwave chocolate, uncovered, in a medium microwave-safe bowl at high 1½ minutes or until melted and smooth, stirring at 30-second intervals.
Pour chocolate onto prepared pan, spreading to an even thickness with a spatula. Sprinkle pretzels, bacon, and almonds evenly over chocolate, pressing down gently to adhere. Sprinkle with sea salt. Let stand 30 minutes or until set. Chill 1 hour.
Break into 2-inch pieces.
