    Heavenly Almond Creams

    List of Ingredients


    • 1½ sticks melted "burned" butter
    • 1 square soft butter
    • 2 pounds powdered sugar
    • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • Almond flavoring to taste (about ½ teaspoon)
    • Melted dipping chocolate
    • Chopped almonds


    Instructions


    1. Make burned butter by cooking the 1½ sticks of butter in a small frying pan until it bubbles and turns light brown.

    2. Combine the "burned butter" and the next 5 ingredients. Mix well with a large mixer. Refrigerate until set up, about 2 hours.

    3. Roll into small balls, about the size of a cherry chocolate. Refrigerate again for an hour, then cover with melted chocolate and roll in finely chopped almonds.

      Makes 5 to 6 dozen balls.
