Heavenly Almond Creams

List of Ingredients
- 1½ sticks melted "burned" butter
- 1 square soft butter
- 2 pounds powdered sugar
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Almond flavoring to taste (about ½ teaspoon)
- Melted dipping chocolate
- Chopped almonds
Instructions
- Make burned butter by cooking the 1½ sticks of butter in a small frying pan until it bubbles and turns light brown.
- Combine the "burned butter" and the next 5 ingredients. Mix well with a large mixer. Refrigerate until set up, about 2 hours.
- Roll into small balls, about the size of a cherry chocolate. Refrigerate again for an hour, then cover with melted chocolate and roll in finely chopped almonds.
Makes 5 to 6 dozen balls.
