Maple Cream Bonbons

List of Ingredients
- 1 cup butter (no substitutes), softened
- 3-1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 3 Tbsp maple flavoring
- 2 cups chopped walnuts
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, cream the butter, sugar, and maple flavoring until smooth. Stir in chopped nuts. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls; place on waxed paper-lined baking sheets and freeze until firm.
- In microwave or heavy saucepan, melt the chips. Dip balls into chocolate-butterscotch mixture and place on waxed paper-lined baking sheets. Refrigerate until hardened. (Store in the refrigerator.)
Makes 5 dozen.
