    Lemonade

    From "The Blue Ribbon Country Cookbook" by Diane Roupe

    List of Ingredients


    • ¾ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 3 to 4 lemons)
    • ½ cup sugar (superfine or granulated)
    • 4 cups water
    • Sprigs of fresh mint (optional)


    Instructions


    1. In a large pitcher, place the lemon juice, sugar, and water; stir until the sugar dissolves.

    2. Pour into tall glasses filled with ice cubes. Each glass may be decorated with a sprig of fresh mint.

      Makes 5 to 6 servings.
