- Nonstick cooking spray
- 1 (11-oz.) pkg. French bread dough
- 1 (8-oz.) jar or can pizza sauce
- 1 small red bell pepper
- 1 cup finely sliced onions
- 4 ounces thinly sliced pepperoni or salami
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Heat oven to 400 degrees (F).
- Unroll the dough into the prepared baking dish, covering bottom and sides of the pan. (There will be excess dough.)
- Spread the pizza sauce over the dough. Arrange the bell pepper and onions on top. Top with the pepperoni and sprinkle with the mozzarella. Roll down the excess dough to form an edge. Bake, uncovered, 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and dough is browned.
Makes 6 pieces.
Reheating: The pizza is best if eaten immediately, but individual slices can be reheated, wrapped in foil, in a 300-degree oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
