    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb. ground beef
    • 1 onion, chopped
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 2 Tbsp bottled hot sauce (or to taste)
    • 1 cup milk
    • 2 Tbsp flour
    • 2 eggs
    • 2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
    • 1 (8-ounce) can whole green chilies


    Instructions


    1. In a skillet, saute the ground beef and onion. Pour off the fat. Add the salt and hot sauce.

    2. Blend together the milk, flour and eggs. Remove the seeds from the chilies.

    3. Grease a casserole dish and build layers, some chilies, then beef, then the milk mixture, then cheese. Top off with chilies and cheese. Bake in a 375-degree (F) oven for 30 minutes.

      Serves 4
