    Tuscon Corn Bake

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 (16- to 17-oz.) cans cream-style corn
    • 2 eggs, beaten
    • 3/4 cup yellow cornmeal
    • 1 tsp garlic salt
    • 6 Tbsp vegetable oil
    • 1 (4-oz.) can green chilies, finely chopped
    • 2 cups grated Cheddar cheese


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients except chilies and cheese. Divide the mixture in half. Place half of the mixture in a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Mix chilies and cheese; place on top of the corn mixture in the dish. Cover with remaining corn mixture.

      Bake for 35 minutes.

      Makes 8 servings.
