List of Ingredients
• 12 Tbsp unsalted butter, softened
• ¾ cup granulated sugar
• ¾ cup packed brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1½ tsp pure vanilla extract
• 2¼ cups plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• ¾ tsp salt
• One 12-ounce package semisweet chocolate chips
Recipe
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease two baking sheets and set aside.
In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy, about 2 minutes. Add the eggs and extract, beating until well blended. In a separate small bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture, beating well. Stir in the chips.
Drop by tablespoons onto the prepared baking sheets. Bake 8 to 12 minutes, or until the desired degree of doneness. Immediately transfer to wire racks to cool.
