    Apricot Mint Sauce

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup good-quality apricot preserves
    • 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
    • 2 Tbsp bourbon


    Instructions


    1. Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan over low heat. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until the preserves melt, about 3 to 4 minutes.

    2. Strain the sauce through a fine-mesh strainer into a bowl. Spoon the hot sauce over lamb or pork as a finishing touch. Or pour the sauce into a serving bowl and pass it at the table.

      Makes about 1-/4 cups.
