Recipe Introduction
"This Creole mustard and mayonnaise mix makes for a perfect all-purpose sandwich spread. I particularly love it on sandwiches with roasted meats. If you can't find Creole mustard in your area, substitute a hearty whole-grain or crushed-grain spicy mustard in its place, or make your own Creole mustard."
List of Ingredients
â—¦ ¾ cup mayonnaise, preferably homemade
â—¦ ½ cup plus 1 tablespoon sour cream
â—¦ ¼ cup plus 2 tablespoons Creole mustard or whole-grain mustard
â—¦ ¾ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Recipe
Place the mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard, and cayenne in a small mixing bowl and stir together until combined. Use immediately, or cover with plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator until ready to use, up to 3 days.
Makes about 1 ½ cups
