Clipper Chocolate Chip Cookies

List of Ingredients
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 Tbsp Frangelico (hazelnut liqueur) or water
- 1 Tbsp coffee liqueur or 1 Tbsp coffee, or water
- 2 large eggs
- 2-1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 (12-ounce) pkgs. milk or semisweet chocolate chips
- 1-1/2 cups chopped walnuts
- 1-1/2 cups chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325� F. Using an electric mixer, beat together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, Frangelico and coffee liqueur until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well.
- Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add to butter mixture and beat just to blend. Stir in chocolate chips, walnuts and pecans.
- Drop dough by 1/4-cup measure onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart. Bake until cookies are golden, about 16 minutes. Transfer to racks to cool.
Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
