Macadamia Chocolate Chip Cookies

- 2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1-1/2 sticks butter
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 2 cups semisweet milk chocolate chips
- 2/3 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup chopped macadamia nuts
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Sift dry ingredients; set aside.
- Cream butter and sugars. Blend in egg and vanilla. Stir in the sifted dry ingredients, chopped nuts, and chocolate chips.
- Roll dough into the shape of a fat cylinder. Refrigerate dough for one hour.
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees (F). Slice dough and place on a cookie sheet.
- Bake for about 10 minutes. Remove cookies from pan and allow to cool on wire racks.
Makes about 1 dozen.
