    Peanut Butter-Chocolate Chip Cookies

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 (1 pound, 1.5-ounce) pkg. chocolate-chip cookie mix
    • 1 egg
    • 1/2 cup stick margarine, softened
    • 1/2 cup peanut butter
    • 1/3 cup dry roasted peanuts, coarsely chopped


    Instructions


    1. In a large bowl, combine the cookie mix, egg, margarine, peanut butter and peanuts. Use your hands to mix well, or use the paddle attachment of an electric mixer.

    2. Drop the dough by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in a preheated 375º F oven about 11 minutes, or until light golden brown.

    3. Cool cookies on the sheets about a minute before transferring to racks.

      Makes about 2-1/2 dozen cookies.
