Simple Chocolate Thumbprints

- 1/2 of an 18-oz. roll refrigerated peanut butter cookie dough
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate pieces
- 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
- Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake in 375-degree oven 7 minutes. Remove from oven; gently press a shallow indentation in each cookie with the back of a round 1/2-teaspoon measuring spoon. Bake 2 minutes more or until bottoms are lightly brown. Cool on wire rack.
- In a small saucepan combine chocolate pieces and sweetened condensed milk. Cook and stir over medium heat until chocolate is melted. Transfer to pastry bag fitted with small star tip. Pipe about 1 teaspoon filling into the center of each cookie.
Makes about 36 cookies.
