• 1 cup butter
  
• 1 cup sugar
  
• 3 oz. cream cheese
  
• 1 Tbsp vanilla
  
• 1 egg yolk
  
• 2-1/2 cups flour
  
• Strawberry jam
  






Instructions



1. Cream together the butter, sugar and cream cheese. Add vanilla and egg yolk; mix. Add flour; blend. Chill dough.
   
   
2. Shape the dough into 1-inch balls. Using floured thumb, press a hole into the center of each cookie; fill with 1/4 teaspoon jam.
   
   
3. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees (F) for 10 to 12 minutes.
   
   Yield: 5 dozen
